Riding lessons

Limited pilot forming

Start with the right ride, not a crowded calendar

River Creek is assembling its first small group of lesson riders in Church Hill. The pilot will begin with only 6-8 mounted appointments per week so every rider can be matched with care.

Tell us what the right first appointment looks like

River Creek will contact the first best-fit riders as instructor, horse, and schedule capacity is approved. Earlier waitlist entries receive priority when the match is otherwise equal.

Times that could work

This is a priority interest waitlist, not a guaranteed booking. We will confirm fit, policies, availability, and price before collecting payment.

Common questions

Are riding lessons open for instant booking?

Not yet. River Creek is forming a deliberately small pilot and personally matching riders, instructors, horses, and time slots. Join the priority waitlist below; no payment is collected until a lesson is offered and confirmed.

Do I need my own horse?

No, but tell us which situation applies. Riders who need a lesson horse will only be accepted when a suitable horse is available. Riders with their own horse may be able to start through the bring-your-own-horse coaching option.

What ages and experience levels can apply?

River Creek is collecting interest from children and adults at every experience level. Final minimum ages and lesson formats will depend on instructor, horse, and insurance requirements. A parent or legal guardian must complete the process for a minor.

What should a rider wear?

Plan on long pants, a properly fitted ASTM/SEI equestrian helmet, and closed-toe riding footwear with a heel. River Creek will confirm its complete equipment policy and whether loaner helmets are available before the first appointment.

Why are weekly appointments limited?

The pilot is designed to grow at the pace of the family, instructor, and horses. River Creek would rather offer a smaller number of dependable appointments than publish a calendar it cannot serve well.
